The Bouncing Souls: True Believers
Such a great sing-a-long punk song. I have been rocking out to The Bouncing Souls all day today so I just had to post this song.

Boysetsfire: Rookie
“Rookie” is the first song that got me interested in Boysetsfire… and really the whole album After The Eulogy. I still love listening to all of their albums and I’m really looking forward to their new album that should be out sometime next year.
Abel: An Ultimatum
I think Abel’s new album Make It Right might be my “album to come out of nowhere and blow me out of the water” of the year. It is everything I look for in a good rock album and doing it all while flying under the radar.
Mumford And Sons: Below My Feet
I’ve got to say I’ve only listened to Mumford And Sons new album Babel a few times, but wow it is just as good if not better than Sigh No More. “Below My Feet” is, to simply put it, a beautiful song; it flows perfectly. I’m so happy that they didn’t have a sophomore slump with this album.
Matchbook Romance: She’ll Never Understand
Matchbook Romance is a band that I had forgotten about since they decided to call it quits in 2007. It wasn’t until recently that I decided to give their debut full length album Stories And Alibis a listen for the good old times and man I’ve forgotten how good that album is. “She’ll Never Understand” has always seemed like an underrated song on that album, it has catchy hooks and pretty good emo lyrics. This is an album that I will probably give a spin a couple more times in the next week.
Thrice: Red Sky
More Thrice! Favorite song from the album that saw a drastic turn from hardcore rock.
Thrice: Silhouette
I’ve really been in the mood for Thrice lately and what better song to go with then my favorite song off of my favorite Thrice album. The Artist In The Ambulance is just an awesome album from start to finish!
Thrice: Talking Through Glass
Thrice’s 2009 album Beggars is really starting to grow on me. “Talking Through Glass” is pretty good until it gets to the chorus where you realize it has that “It” factor that makes all great songs. I know a lot of people including myself talk about how great of songwriters Ben Gibbard, Brain Fallon, Matthew Bellamy, and Thom Yorke are, but let’s not forget to mention Dustin Kensrue in that discussion. Just to watch his talent mature over the last 11 years has been incredible.
